Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Customer Service Sales Support & Admin specialist to join its team in either Denver, CO or Tucson, AZ. The role combines inbound customer interaction, order processing, and administrative duties to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Process sales orders, ensure accurate system entry, and monitor order status.
• Route complex issues to the appropriate departments and own resolution through completion.
• Communicate order updates, delays, and delivery information to customers.
• Expedite urgent orders and support inside‑sales initiatives.
• Manage back‑orders, open picks, allocations, and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory data in ERP systems.
• Process accounts payable, purchase orders, and enter invoices into the Ariba portal.
• Set up and maintain vendor records in compliance with company standards.
• Generate reports and maintain documentation for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week (hybrid model).
