Customer Service Representative

About the role

MP Systems, a USA Today Top Workplace and a division of the Morris Group, manufactures CNC machine tool accessories such as high-pressure coolant systems, chillers, filtration and mist collection. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Customer Service Representative works with all departments to give customers professional, responsive and personalized service. The position offers career growth in a fast-growing manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer queries promptly and accurately by phone and email, and resolve problems or concerns
• Triage customer inquiries and work with the engineering team to track technical issues in the service database
• Process orders through the ERP system and send order acknowledgements with ship date, tracking and invoices
• Work with the shipping department to track, expedite or delay shipments
• Handle other organizational and administrative tasks as required

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and follow company procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and to sit for long periods
