Customer Service Representative

About the role

Sandvik Mining Rock Tools is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its Denver team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to customers, distributors and internal partners by handling inbound sales inquiries, processing orders and resolving issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Answer designated inbound calls from external customers and process sales orders received by phone.
• Assess customer inquiries, route them to the appropriate department, and take ownership of issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Expedite urgent orders, provide delivery updates, and proactively inform customers of status changes.
• Escalate complex concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Identify process inefficiencies, support continuous‑improvement initiatives and maintain data accuracy across systems.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
• Associate degree plus two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment (minimum three days onsite).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using ERP and/or CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
