Customer Service Chat Representative (Remote)

About the role

Frontdoor is looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented Customer Service Chat Representative to join its remote team. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners, contractors, and business partners, helping them understand coverage, resolve issues, and navigate the Frontdoor platform.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, chat messages, and email inquiries from customers, contractors, and partners.
• Explain contract coverage, answer policy questions, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Follow up on open cases to guarantee timely resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of policies, procedures, and product offerings.
• Complete required continuing‑education courses and assume additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer‑service experience preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
