About the role

The Maintenance Call Center Operator provides front‑line support for facilities‑related inquiries at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Working in a fast‑paced call center environment, the incumbent ensures timely logging and routing of maintenance requests to keep campus operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to emails regarding maintenance and facilities issues.
• Document each request accurately in the tracking system and assign it to the appropriate service team.
• Provide callers with status updates and follow‑up information.
• Escalate urgent or critical incidents according to established protocols.
• Maintain call logs and generate routine reports for management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications preferred.
