Customer Experience Specialist - Full Time

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a full-time Customer Experience Specialist at its Norfolk International Airport location. You will be the face of first-class service for Avis First customers, delivering a premium, personalized experience from doorstep delivery to airport arrival. The role suits people who enjoy a fast-paced service environment and value attention to detail, professionalism and people skills; a customer service background or valet driving experience is welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional and personalized experience for Avis First customers
• Provide a premium experience by delivering vehicles directly to customers
• Coordinate timely vehicle delivery and collection with team members and management
• Confirm logistics, special requests and meeting locations with premium customers by phone, text, email and app
• Greet customers warmly, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage and give an overview of the rental vehicle

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or car rental
• Valid driver's license; must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work various hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and outdoors in all weather
• On-site requirement: regular presence at the airport, no remote work
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to sit, stand, walk, enter and exit vehicles and drive them in all weather
