Customer Experience Associate (University Grad)

About the role

Ramp is looking for a University Graduate to join its Customer Experience team. You will be the voice of Ramp’s support, diagnosing issues across payments, cards, travel, and accounting integrations, and driving resolutions across multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers via live calls, email, and chat to troubleshoot complex product issues.
• Own escalations end‑to‑end, routing tickets across Risk, Engineering, Product, and Partnerships.
• Build and improve AI‑powered research and automation tools, providing feedback to evolve proprietary platforms.
• Identify process gaps, create SOPs or knowledge‑base articles, and implement fixes to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• Systems thinker who questions root causes and seeks preventive solutions.
• Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Notion AI, etc.) to enhance work productivity.
• Fast‑moving with high execution standards, balancing speed, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Clear written and verbal communication, especially with financially sophisticated customers.

Required skills

• Experience with Zendesk and Slack for ticket handling and escalation workflows.
• Proficiency in using AI tools such as Claude, Notion AI, and proprietary research platforms.
• Understanding of payment systems, bank integrations, and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks).
