Customer Engineer III

About the role

The Customer Engineer III serves as the direct liaison with customers, installing, maintaining, and upgrading photolithography and mask laser writer equipment. The role uses digital analytics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment at the Photronics Allen site.
• Apply troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills using company diagnostic tools and documentation.
• Follow and generate documented procedures and published task plans.
• Communicate with customers and internal business units, leading projects as necessary.
• Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned, including safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Associate degree or comparable military technical training with field service experience.
• 4+ years of work experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Precision mechanical equipment repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.
