Custom Home Construction Site Manager / Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Custom Home Construction Site Manager/Superintendent to oversee daily construction of multiple custom homes across Hilton Head Island and Bluffton. This full‑time, field‑based position requires strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities on 2–7 active custom home projects, traveling between sites.
• Manage schedules, trade sequencing, deliveries, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Direct subcontractors on tasks, timing, and quality standards.
• Review plans, specifications, and selections before work begins.
• Inspect workmanship, ensure compliance with codes and company standards, and maintain punch lists.
• Coordinate inspections, final punch, cleaning, turnover, and warranty items.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites and communicate status to office and project team.

Required profile

• 5+ years residential construction experience, preferably custom or high‑end homes.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and jobsite coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Independent field worker who can collaborate effectively with office staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, email, Microsoft Office, and construction software.
