CT Technologist (Part-Time)

About the role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, Illinois, is hiring a part-time CT Technologist working day shifts, with one weekend per month from 2:30 pm to 11 pm. The role covers operating CT scanners and related equipment, following safety and patient-care protocols, and keeping accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Practice infection control standards and use approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification, informed consent and time-out procedures before exams.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educate patients about the exam and complete all exams on time, keeping workflow efficient and minimizing empty table time.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent (required).
• Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) with ARRT certification (required).
• ARRT-CT certification (required).
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required).
• Preferred: 1+ years of radiology experience and completion of a CT training program.
• Preferred: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree.

Pay range: $31.34 - $58.29.
