CS Parts Repair Center Supervisor

About the role

The Parts Repair Center Supervisor leads daily operations of the Dematic Repair Center in Salt Lake City, overseeing a team of technicians who test, troubleshoot, repair, and validate electronic and electromechanical components. This hands‑on supervisory role combines leadership with technical problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, mentor and develop a team of repair technicians, establishing daily priorities and allocating resources to meet repair and production targets.
• Monitor workload, backlog, technician productivity and service levels; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Provide direct technical assistance for complex repairs, evaluate failed PCBs and assemblies, and ensure all units meet quality standards before release.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, develop specialized testing fixtures, and support ISO‑compliant processes.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, Lean and 5S improvements to increase throughput, quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with analog and digital electronic systems and prior supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, bend and walk in a warehouse environment, and maintain safety compliance.

Required skills

• Electronic troubleshooting and repair of PCB assemblies, electromechanical components.
• Use of digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, waveform generators, signal analyzers and electronic test fixtures.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP for repair record keeping.
• Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Knowledge of ESD prevention, Lean, 5S and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
