Cryogenic Technician

About the role

The Cryogenic Technician will install, repair, refurbish, inspect and maintain cryogenic equipment, including bulk and micro‑bulk storage tanks. The role ensures safe and reliable gas storage and distribution while supporting customers across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Install equipment for bulk and micro‑bulk tank distribution systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on tanks and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, service and repair a variety of cryogenic equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare documentation for installations and inspections.
• Respond to service requests promptly and support low‑to‑medium pressure process piping inside customer facilities.
• Collaborate with Plant Managers and other departments to keep plant fill equipment operational.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of plumbing or related technical experience.
• 2+ years of experience with cryogenic system equipment preferred.
• Valid Class D driver’s license for travel to customer sites.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.
