Cruise Consultant

About the role

The Cruise Consultant joins Cruise Specialists, a leading cruise and tour agency, to provide highly personalized travel planning for both existing and new clients. Working with a wide range of cruise lines and exclusive rates, the consultant ensures every vacation is flawlessly executed from initial inquiry to final payment.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design and present customized cruise proposals to clients.
• Provide clear pricing, explain benefits, and recommend ancillary services such as insurance, hotels, and airfare.
• Process quote requests promptly and enter transaction details into the Agent Mate reservation system.
• Book cruise reservations using online engines and cruise line booking tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, address issues, and involve management when necessary.
• Maintain client communication regarding travel requirements, visas, payment notices, and reminders.
• Support sales targets and participate in projects assigned by the Director of Sales.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in the cruise market.
• Strong knowledge of cruise lines, ships, destinations and booking procedures.
• Proven sales record and ability to meet established targets.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using Zoom for virtual meetings.
• Ability to navigate the Agent Mate reservation system.
