Critical Care Nocturnist

About the role

Critical Care Nocturnist provides direct patient care for complex critically ill medical and surgical patients across multiple ICU locations, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of critically ill patients, including ICU consultations and multidisciplinary care.
• Perform ICU procedures such as intubations, chest tube placement, central and arterial line insertions, and bronchoscopy.
• Care for diverse populations including ECMO, transplant, cardiac surgery, neuro‑interventional radiology, and neurosurgical patients.
• Participate in various coverage models, from in‑house night coverage to remote tele‑ICU support.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• Flexibility to travel to multiple hospital sites as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, patients, and colleagues.
