About the role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Credit Card Collections Specialist I who will serve as the first point of contact for customers with credit‑card accounts. The role is bilingual, requiring fluency in both English and Spanish, and focuses on delivering high‑quality service in a fast‑paced call‑center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls (potentially over 100 daily) related to credit‑card financial products.
• Interpret customer needs, provide solutions, and deliver continuous insights.
• Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently while adhering to regulatory and departmental procedures.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals.
• Maintain empathy, respect, and composure in every customer interaction.

Required profile

• Fluent reading and speaking in both English and Spanish.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in phone or face‑to‑face customer interaction.
• Strong communication, negotiation, information‑gathering, and decision‑making abilities.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to manage complex interactions with empathy and sound judgment.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced, results‑driven environments and willingness to learn new products and systems quickly.
