Creative Lead, Artist Experiences, Growth & Operations

About the role

VAWAA is seeking a designer‑turned‑operator to discover extraordinary artists worldwide, build trust, and transform their creative practices into travel experiences. The role blends design judgment, relationship building, commercial insight, and operational discipline to grow the artist community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and curate exceptional artists across diverse art forms and geographies.
• Lead video conversations and assess artistic mastery, teaching ability, and fit for VAWAA.
• Build and maintain artist relationships, edit copy, select images, and manage the CRM.
• Develop and optimise systems, workflows, and templates to onboard 20‑30 artists every four months.
• Ensure high‑quality launch execution while scaling processes.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience in a fast‑paced creative environment (design agency, studio, tech or creative startup).
• Strong relationship‑management skills with experience in outreach, onboarding, and account management.
• Commercially thoughtful with ability to balance artist practice, guest demand, pricing and positioning.
• Highly organised, AI‑native operator comfortable managing multiple deadlines, CRM data and automated workflows.
• Excellent written and visual editing ability to turn complex artist information into clear content.
