About the role
The CRE Credit Analyst supports commercial lending and portfolio management by preparing credit analyses, memos, and reviews for new and existing borrowers. The position can be at the II or III level based on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare high‑quality credit analyses, opportunity memos, and recommendations for new money requests, renewals, and modifications.
- Analyze financial statements, industry risk, loan structure, and market conditions to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Utilize financial spreading software and other analysis tools to evaluate cash flow and repayment capacity.
- Maintain data integrity in underwriting platforms and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Participate in business calls, OM calls, and special projects as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
- 3–5 years of commercial lending or credit administration experience, preferably in C&I lending.
- Formal credit training is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using financial spreading software and credit analysis tools.
