CP (Chemical Processing) Production Operator

About the role

The CP (Chemical Processing) Production Operator supports continuous polymerization operations by managing additive and raw‑material flows, ensuring equipment runs smoothly, and maintaining a safe production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and troubleshoot additive make‑up operations and equipment.
• Track additive batch and feed‑tank levels to keep a consistent supply to CP operations.
• Monitor, control, and troubleshoot raw‑material unloading/loading and silo levels.
• Unload raw‑material trailers, railcars, and additive tanker trucks.
• Perform flagman duties and operate track‑mobile equipment during rail movements.
• Learn and operate CP chip systems and related computer controls.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work safely as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn chemical mixing while wearing a respirator.
• Motivated, self‑driven, and able to work rotating 12‑hour shifts (4 days on, 4 days off).
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Heavy equipment operation (track‑mobile, flagman duties).
• Computer control system usage for process monitoring.
• Hand‑tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
• Chemical mixing procedures with respirator protection.
