About the role

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Courtesy Worker in its Fort Wayne store. As a Courtesy Team Member, you will interact with customers and help provide additional services, product and customer support. The schedule is 4-5 nights a week with flexibility until 10 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back inside.
• Collect trash from the parking lot, lawn and inside the store.
• Use snow removal equipment safely to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Support departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

Required profile

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
