Courier/DOT Driver

About the role

Join Federal Express as a Courier/DOT Driver, delivering packages efficiently and courteously across assigned routes. You will operate company vehicles, ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards, and provide excellent customer service during each delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned FedEx vehicle in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Pick up and deliver packages on schedule, following route plans and traffic laws.
• Inspect shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and report any discrepancies.
• Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers at each delivery point.
• Assist with loading and unloading packages, using appropriate equipment when needed.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and maneuver heavier items with equipment or assistance.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet FMCSA safety regulations.
• Medical exam clearance per FMCSA/FAA requirements.

• Safe vehicle operation and DOT compliance.
• Basic package handling and loading techniques.
• Effective verbal communication in English.
