Courier/DOT-1 Driver – Package Delivery

About the role

Join Federal Express as a Courier/DOT-1 driver responsible for courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. You will operate company vehicles, ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards, and provide front‑line customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned company vehicle to deliver and collect packages on scheduled routes.
• Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx service features.
• Interact with customers professionally, maintaining a neat appearance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver heavier items with equipment or assistance.
• Pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA regulations.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation and safe driving practices.
• Basic English reading and speaking for traffic signs and communication with officials.
