Counter Threat Finance Analyst (K3)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Counter Threat Finance Analyst (K3) to support U.S. and allied government efforts to disrupt threat networks through counter-threat finance operations. Working alongside experts and government partners, the analyst identifies and disrupts illicit financial networks funding terrorism, counter-narcotics operations, organized crime and state-based threats, tracking money flows across borders and briefing senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Support Threat Finance Intelligence (TFI) analysis and facilitate Intel Agency and DoD CTF activities within the assigned area of responsibility, working with U.S. law enforcement agencies and military organizations.
• Analyze TFI information, including Top Secret/SCI, and provide targeting and interdiction recommendations for CD/CTOC/CT activities.
• Draft correspondence and briefings for DoD and law enforcement personnel, and provide analytical products for DoD briefings.
• Develop action plans, papers, reports and target packages describing adversary financial networks, vulnerabilities and interagency operations.
• Support conferences, draft guidance and policy documents, and assist DoD in working with law enforcement and intelligence communities.
• Analyze complex strategic, policy and program issues and advise DoD component leadership on courses of action.

Required profile

• High school graduate or GED with 10 years of specialized experience, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree with 5 years of specialized experience.
• Valid active Top Secret/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to maintain it.
• Finance-specific analytical experience targeting, detecting and interdicting terrorist, criminal and drug-trafficking finance networks, including Bank Secrecy Act reporting (SARs).
• Experience with layered entity-level and multi-source network analysis.
