Corrections Law Library Assistant

About the role

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a Corrections Law Library Assistant (CLLA) at the Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln, Illinois. The position provides extensive reference, instructional and research services. It is a full-time, salaried union position with an anticipated starting salary of $5,342 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Train and supervise individuals-in-custody law clerks.
• Provide law library services to patrons and staff.
• Develop and maintain the institutional law library.
• Support facility programs and services.
• Maintain library order and security.

• Bilingual skills are welcome.
