Corporate Travel Consultant

About the role

Global Travel Collection (GTC) is seeking a Corporate Travel Consultant to support a principal advisor’s client portfolio. The role blends on‑site collaboration in Manhattan with remote work, delivering premium travel arrangements for leisure, corporate and entertainment travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and book air, hotel, car and limousine services using the Sabre reservation system.
• Issue tickets, exchanges, MCOs, voids and refunds, and manage invoicing through Sabre or the Agent Portal.
• Re‑confirm travel itineraries before departure and provide real‑time problem solving throughout the client’s trip.
• Handle customer service issues directly with vendors, ensuring optimal resolutions while keeping the advisor informed.
• Maintain compliance with corporate travel policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years full‑time experience as a travel agent handling domestic and international bookings.
• Strong knowledge of international routing, fare calculations and travel documentation requirements.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and maintain a professional, positive demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Sabre reservation system (graphical mode), including GDS formats, shortcuts, pricing and e‑ticketing.
