Corporate M&A Associate – Healthcare Transactions

About the role

Robert Half is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate to support a high‑volume pipeline of healthcare acquisitions. This fully remote position (based in New York) will act as the primary deal quarterback, guiding transactions from due diligence through closing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage 6–7+ simultaneous M&A transactions from due diligence to closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements and related transaction documents.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including legal, finance, and operations—to keep deals on schedule.
• Track diligence workflows, identify issues, and ensure readiness for closing.
• Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations and advise stakeholders on risk and compliance.
• Collaborate with outside counsel on complex transaction matters.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of corporate M&A or transactional legal experience.
• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals independently.
• Strong project‑management and organizational skills.
• Experience with commercial and corporate transactions; healthcare exposure is a plus.
