Corporate Litigation Counsel

About the role

Cemex US is seeking a Corporate Litigation Counsel to provide timely legal advice and manage litigation matters for the company and its U.S. subsidiaries. The role involves direct interaction with senior leadership and oversight of both internal and external legal resources.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
• Deliver pre‑litigation counsel and manage ongoing litigation across a variety of matters.
• Draft, organize, and manage legal documents for diverse cases.
• Oversee outside counsel and internal legal support staff.
• Conduct legal research, respond to subpoenas, and manage discovery processes.
• Update training materials and deliver training sessions.
• Serve as a key legal advisor to the business team.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of litigation experience in a law‑firm environment.
• State and Federal court experience.
• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and active Bar membership.
• Proven ability to advise and interact with senior management.
• Experience in at least two of the following: labor & employment litigation, commercial/contract litigation, personal injury defense.
• Preferred experience in areas such as transportation law, government investigations, regulatory compliance, class actions, construction defect, environmental matters, antitrust, insurance coverage, or training programs.
