Corporate Legal AI Business Development Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to drive the adoption of LexisNexis AI‑powered workflow solutions within large in‑house legal teams. The role blends legal expertise with business development, helping General Counsels and legal operations leaders modernise their processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers and Legal Operations leaders at Fortune 1000 companies.
• Conduct tailored product demonstrations that align LexisNexis Workflow capabilities with specific in‑house legal use cases.
• Translate complex AI functionality into clear, outcome‑focused benefits for legal stakeholders.
• Enhance LexisNexis’ market perception as a trusted AI partner for legal departments.
• Research customers, competitors and market trends to shape sales strategy and messaging.
• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Monitor implementation progress and report updates to client leadership together with product specialists.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM degree.
• Minimum three years of in‑house legal experience at a Fortune 1000 company, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Deep understanding of how AI is reshaping legal workflows and operations.
• Familiarity with common in‑house legal processes and challenges.
