About the role

Join Redis as the fifth member of a global commercial and product legal team, supporting the company’s go‑to‑market strategy across enterprise SaaS, software licensing and international agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, NDAs, DPAs and vendor contracts.
• Support senior counsel on complex deal structuring and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Deal Desk, Product and Security to align contracts with business goals and risk frameworks.
• Assist new product launches by drafting customer‑facing terms and go‑to‑market agreements.
• Advise on privacy matters and ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA and other data‑protection regulations.
• Improve contract templates, playbooks and processes, leveraging AI‑powered tools.

Required profile

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and active admission to a US state bar.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial, SaaS or technology transactions, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Familiarity with data‑privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and software licensing models.
• Curiosity about business drivers and a bias toward ownership.
