Corporate Controller

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing aviation services provider seeking its first Corporate Controller. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the finance function, build robust processes, and deliver timely, actionable financial insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement accounting policies, controls, and workflows to ensure reliable financial data.
• Lead the month‑end close, producing accurate financial statements, KPIs, variance analysis, and cash‑flow reports.
• Create executive‑level dashboards and reporting packages that translate data into business intelligence.
• Oversee accounting and analysis for aircraft maintenance, fixed assets, parts inventory, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain strong internal controls, support audit readiness, and ensure compliance with external partners.
• Partner with the executive team on budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and growth initiatives.
• Identify and execute process‑optimization opportunities to improve efficiency and data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA and CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/controllership experience, preferably in a growth‑oriented, asset‑intensive environment.
• Proven track record of improving financial data timeliness and delivering executive‑ready insights.
• Experience in aviation, transportation, or services industries is a plus.
