Corporate Controller

About the role

Snap Inc is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its global accounting and revenue functions. The role is responsible for overseeing the accounting close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving accounting transformation across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Own and oversee the global month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and international reporting standards.
• Lead and develop a multi‑layered global accounting organization, setting vision, driving performance, and building leadership capability.
• Drive enterprise‑wide accounting transformation initiatives, including automation, process optimization, and the design of scalable accounting policies and internal controls.
• Develop accounting strategy for complex and non‑routine transactions, new business models, and revenue arrangements.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Tax, and Risk Advisory teams to advise on structuring complex revenue and partnership agreements.
• Maintain the financial statement control environment in collaboration with the CAO and Risk Advisory partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading global accounting teams and managing the full accounting close cycle.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards.
• Proven track record of implementing accounting automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience handling complex revenue recognition, new business models, and cross‑functional partnership agreements.
• Strong leadership and talent development skills.
