Corporate Attorney – In‑House Legal Counsel

About the role

The Lindmark Companies is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to serve as in‑house legal counsel for its nationwide outdoor advertising operations. The role provides business‑focused legal advice across litigation, regulatory compliance, real estate, contracts, and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on commercial transactions, real estate, operations, and regulatory matters.
• Manage litigation, claims, and oversee outside counsel, including strategy and budgeting.
• Review, negotiate and draft contracts such as leases, vendor agreements, NDAs, and acquisition documents.
• Advise on zoning, land‑use, permitting, and signage regulations.
• Support real estate activities, including lease negotiations, disputes, and property rights.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and development projects, conducting due diligence.
• Oversee corporate governance, entity compliance, and statutory filings.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Support discovery processes, legal holds, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Provide risk assessments and updates to executive leadership.
• Supervise and mentor the Legal Manager and other legal staff.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Oklahoma Bar license and admission to federal courts (multi‑state licensure preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in corporate, litigation, or real‑estate law, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Proven experience managing litigation and outside counsel.
• Background in real estate, land‑use, construction, or related industries is a plus.
