Corporate Accounting Manager

About the role

The Corporate Accounting Manager leads the accounting function and staff, ensuring accurate financial, statistical, and management reporting in line with GAAP and SEC regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial close process across six companies, coordinating with division controllers, tax, payroll, sales, and credit/AR teams.
• Oversee Lawson General Ledger, Activity Management, Asset Management, Accounts Payable systems, and SAP Payroll system, including account maintenance and report design.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through review, audit, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Prepare annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure requests in partnership with the Director of Accounting Operations.

Required profile

• At least seven years of progressive accounting experience in a multi‑divisional manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting; CPA license preferred.
• Proven experience managing accounting functions and supervising staff.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with accounting software.
