Converting Operator – Tier Four (1st Shift)

About the role

Pregis is seeking a Tier Four Converting Operator for the 1st shift to set up, run and maintain packaging machinery. The role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety standards.
• Perform machine start‑up, shut‑down and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor operations to maintain consistent quality and productivity.
• Conduct routine inspections, basic maintenance and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and operate electric pallet jacks, roll lifts and hoists.
• Document production output, machine settings and any issues encountered.
• Execute quality checks in line with Pregis Quality Management System and follow all company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a machine/operator in a manufacturing environment (5+ years preferred).
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
