About the role

Krause Landscape is seeking a full‑time Controller to lead the finance function for its Amarillo and Dallas operations. Reporting to the Regional CFO and joining the senior leadership team, you will own accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process, including accruals, reconciliations and preparation of the corporate reporting package.
• Oversee revenue recognition for construction and maintenance projects in accordance with ASC 606.
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly re‑forecasting, tracking actual results and explaining variances.
• Prepare KPI and dashboard data for senior leaders to monitor business performance.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring accurate data entry and timely collection of past‑due balances.
• Coordinate audits and compliance matters with the Corporate Controller.
• Drive ad‑hoc financial projects and analyses as requested by business or corporate leadership.
• Travel periodically to the Amarillo office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 5‑7 years of progressive finance experience, including managing and developing finance staff.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition (ASC 606) and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operational leaders and provide actionable financial insight.
