Controller – Fund Accounting & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead fund and management company accounting activities. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, support strategic analysis, and maintain strong internal controls within a fast‑paced investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review fund and management company accounting activities.
• Oversee quarterly financial statements, partner capital reporting, and fund performance metrics.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, valuations, and external service providers.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, and investor reporting.
• Supervise fund accounting staff and maintain strong internal controls.
• Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of accounting experience with partnership or fund accounting exposure.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, audits, and fund structures.
• CPA or public accounting background preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting and reporting standards.
• Experience with audits, tax filings, and valuations.
