Controller – Finance & Accounting Leader

About the role

The Controller will lead the accounting and financial operations of a fast‑paced manufacturing company, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate policies. This role acts as a strategic partner to operations and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, BOM and routing setup, and profitability analysis by product, customer and project.
• Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis against plan.
• Direct treasury activities, cash management, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax filings, intercompany accounting and transfer‑pricing requirements.
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance metrics for senior management.
• Drive process improvements and ERP optimization, collaborating with operations, supply chain and HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7‑10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead an accounting team and manage complex financial projects.
