Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Controller will lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance activities for a growing manufacturing company. This senior finance professional will ensure accurate financial information, uphold GAAP and regulatory standards, and provide analysis that drives strategic decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee local accounting functions, maintain supporting documentation and prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Lead the month‑end close process, including journal entry preparation, review and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, capital documentation and AFE acquisition tracking.
• Develop, communicate and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance metrics.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to identify cost‑saving and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Ensure SOX compliance and maintain related documentation.
• Facilitate weekly and monthly performance meetings with senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to coach and develop finance staff and collaborate across all organizational levels.
