Contract Specialist – Hybrid (Multiple US Locations)

About the role

Entergy Services, LLC is seeking a Contract Specialist to support complex service contracts across several business areas. This hybrid position requires three days per week on‑site at one of our offices in New Orleans, LA; Little Rock, AR; The Woodlands, TX; or Jackson, MS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead pre‑award contract creation and post‑award administration.
• Manage the RFx bid process, including negotiation strategies, pricing methodology, KPI establishment, and warranty protection.
• Conduct detailed market and financial analyses to assess supplier and contract risk.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk, Legal, Tax, and Risk Management to ensure contract compliance.
• Identify and evaluate new and existing sources of supply, prioritizing competitive and advantageous offerings.
• Process purchase orders and other procurement tasks to support the organization.
• Promote safety behaviors, monitor supplier safety concerns, and participate in incident response as required.

Required profile

• Significant supply chain and contracting knowledge and experience.
• Ability to develop and negotiate complex business contracting strategies.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Risk Management, Human Resources, and Legal.
