Contract Recruiter – Healthcare & Life Sciences

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter to support hiring across Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Digital Health and Healthcare Technology. The role is a three‑month contract with the possibility of extension and can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the New York/New Jersey area.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and hiring needs.
• Source and engage qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals and other channels.
• Recruit for a wide range of positions including product management, data & AI, clinical operations, and technology consulting.
• Conduct screening and qualification interviews and assess candidates against technical, functional and domain requirements.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Maintain pipelines, provide status updates to hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Track recruiting metrics and report on pipeline activity and hiring progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience with a focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences.
• Proven success recruiting for pharma, biotech, medical devices or healthcare technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry terminology and functional areas.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
