Contract Psychiatrist - Whole-Person Mental Health Care

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is recruiting contract psychiatrists to join its provider network, which includes in-person and virtual therapists, physicians and coaches across the US. As a contract psychiatrist you will provide evidence-based, whole-person and whole-family mental health care through intake and regular follow-up appointments, with medication management and referrals to therapy and coaching. You will be contracted by Lyra Clinical Associates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Deliver evidence-based medication treatment following clinical best-practice guidelines such as measurement-based care and patient-centered care

Required profile

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry
• Unrestricted state license
• Strong preference for clinicians with an active DEA license
• Ability to treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexity and severity levels; in-person options preferred
• Full-time resident of the United States
