Contract Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - 1099

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care, is looking for contract psychiatrists to join its provider network. You will provide evidence-based treatment through intake and regular follow-up appointments for children (0-17) and adults, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Patients can also be referred to therapy and coaching services alongside your care. The network includes in-person and virtual providers across the US, and hiring is currently prioritized in several states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Follow clinical best-practice guidelines such as measurement-based care and patient-centered care
• Work with minors (ages 0-17) as well as adults

Required profile

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry
• Unrestricted state license with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Strong preference for an active DEA license
• Own office space able to see patients
• Ability to treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses, complexities and severity levels; in-person options preferred
• Full-time resident of the United States
