Contract Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a mental health care provider, is recruiting contract nurse practitioners (NPs) or certified physician assistants (PA-Cs) to deliver whole-person, whole-family mental health care. As a contract provider you give evidence-based treatment through intake and follow-up appointments, conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medications. Hiring is currently prioritized in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Refer patients to therapy and coaching services alongside your care

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited CCNE Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program, or an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with PANCE certification; preference for a psychiatry certificate, fellowship or MD with a psychiatry concentration
• Unrestricted state license and at least 2 years of practice
• Strong preference for an active DEA license
• Preference for providers with additional certification or clinical experience with minors, and who can treat a wide range of diagnoses and severity levels, including in-person care
• Authorized to work in the US
