Contract Management Process Owner

About the role

The Contractor Management Process Owner (CMPO) is part of South32’s Operational Readiness team and is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership, governance and continuous improvement of the Contractor Management System of Work at the Hermosa project. The role ensures the system is designed, implemented and consistently applied to support safe, compliant operations and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the Contractor Management System of Work, from design through implementation and ongoing improvement.
• Develop and maintain site‑specific process documentation that meets local business requirements.
• Align the Hermosa processes with the Global Process Owner and enterprise standards.
• Provide governance and assurance activities to confirm the system functions as intended.
• Drive alignment with organisational policies, risk‑management frameworks and clarify roles and responsibilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contractor management, process ownership or operational readiness within an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and compliance principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and local stakeholders.
