Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

This position will be the first dedicated Continuous Improvement Manager for a global food production company operating in the United States. You will work directly with operational leadership to design and implement a Lean‑based improvement roadmap, build site capability, and shape the future CI function.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize opportunities to boost productivity, quality, safety and reduce waste.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives across fast‑paced food production sites.
• Introduce and embed Lean Manufacturing principles, including Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
• Conduct process analyses, value‑stream mapping and operational assessments.
• Partner with operational leaders to deliver improvement projects and support change‑management efforts.
• Develop training, coaching and CI capability at the site level.
• Help define the long‑term structure of the CI function as the business expands its investment.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Lean Manufacturing.
• Background in food manufacturing, food production, catering or similar high‑volume environments.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational change.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, waste elimination and root‑cause analysis.
