Contingent Worker – IT Unified Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Contingent Worker to join the IT Unified Communications team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The contractor will focus on upgrading the institution’s phone system to enhance reliability and support clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute the upgrade of the existing telephone infrastructure.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and internal stakeholders to schedule work and minimize service disruption.
• Validate system performance post‑implementation and document changes.
• Ensure compliance with university safety policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on day one.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or holding an approved exemption.
• Ability to work as a contractor on a defined project timeline.
