Contingent Worker – Data Support in HEALS Lab

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Contingent Worker to support Dr. Melissa Zielinski's HEALS Lab. The position focuses on data‑related tasks, laboratory logistics, and participant interaction across multiple research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data entry, management, and extraction for lab projects using tools such as REDCap, Ripple, and Monday.com.
• Assist with the assembly and logistical preparation of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Support participant‑facing activities, including recruitment, enrollment, and research assessments.
• Contribute to research reporting, dissemination, and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
• Ability to work on‑site at the UAMS campus.

Required skills

• Data entry, data management, and data extraction.
• Experience with REDCap, Ripple, and Monday.com.
• Basic laboratory logistics and material handling.
• Participant recruitment and research assessment support.
