Construction Superintendent – Starship Infrastructure

About the role

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead the Starship Infrastructure team. You will supervise laborers and contractors to build and activate critical infrastructure for Starship projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site management of fast‑paced construction projects.
• Lead a team responsible for site logistics, work schedules, resource allocation and daily coordination.
• Plan, implement and enforce construction logistics, deliveries, inventory, storage and staging of materials.
• Manage SpaceX construction assets such as trailers, portable units and rental equipment.
• Implement and drive SpaceX safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, barricades, SWPP and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, report operations to management and coordinate with engineering and project management teams.
• Handle procurement, budgeting, proposal gathering, contract assignment and cost‑schedule control for sub‑projects.
• Coordinate night‑shift contractors and adjust operations to meet construction deadlines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering, construction management, architecture or facilities management.
• Field experience in a technical environment or managing multi‑discipline contractor teams.
• Familiarity with jurisdictional permitting processes.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using project management and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction site logistics and safety procedures.
