Construction Superintendent – Reno, NV

About the role

Alston Construction is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on‑site personnel and subcontractors for projects in Reno, NV. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality construction work safely, on schedule, within budget, and with strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all on‑site activities to meet project goals and timelines.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, submittals, and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate subcontractors proactively to ensure timely completion without additional costs.
• Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with construction standards, codes, safety, and quality requirements.
• Set up the project site, including trailers, equipment, signage, PPE, and other required items.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, safety logs, equipment rentals, and cost coding.
• Guide the project through close‑out to ensure proper documentation and finalization.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and direct on‑site construction teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, contracts, and specifications.
• Commitment to safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget control.
• Effective communication skills to enhance client relationships and company image.
