Construction Superintendent – Healthcare Projects

About the role

Clark’s Alpena office is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field execution on healthcare projects across Northern Michigan. You will work in occupied medical facilities, ensuring patient care continues uninterrupted while construction meets strict infection‑control and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily execution in occupied healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate phasing around clinical operations and maintain schedule adherence.
• Enforce ICRA and infection‑control protocols.
• Manage trade sequencing, conduct weekly coordination meetings, and drive quality closeout.
• Maintain documentation, daily reporting, and inspection readiness.
• Build strong relationships with facility operations teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent, preferably in healthcare construction.
• Strong MEP coordination capability.
• Deep understanding of infection control and phased work in 24/7 environments.
• Disciplined leadership with a commitment to safety and operational awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Phoenix.
• Proficiency with ProjectSight.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
