Construction Superintendent – All Levels

About the role

JRM is seeking Construction Superintendents at all experience levels to lead on‑site construction activities across its portfolio of public and private projects. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality work safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating trade crews and field personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Superintendent in developing, updating, and maintaining master schedules, 60‑day look‑ahead, and two‑week look‑ahead plans for assigned trades.
• Implement and continuously enforce JRM’s corporate safety program on the job site.
• Monitor material delivery dates, communicate requirements to the project superintendent, and track contract items and shop drawing schedules.
• Attend weekly foreman, superintendent, and project team meetings to report progress, raise issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Prepare thorough daily construction reports and contribute to monthly status reports for the client.
• Maintain document control to ensure work follows the latest design documents and approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate with designers for additional information, issue RFIs, and secure required permits and approvals.

Required profile

• Experience supporting a General Superintendent in schedule management and field supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and ability to enforce them daily.
• Proficiency in tracking material deliveries, shop drawings, and permit requirements.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with project managers, designers, and on‑site crews.
• Ability to produce accurate daily reports and assist in monthly client reporting.
